Edu-Prize School - Enrollment Policy

Edu-Prize does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, color, religion, sex, marital status, handicap/disability, or national origin.

Applications for Kindergarten are accepted anytime and remain active through the end of the year the child starts Kindergarten. Families are called for student placement based on the date order in which the application was received. Registration calls begin in late March of the year the child starts school. Children need to be five years old before September 1st for Kindergarten enrollment.

Applications for grades 1-8 will be available and accepted beginning in January of the calendar year for which your child is seeking enrollment. In April, it will be estimated how many openings exist at each grade level and applications will be selected by a random lottery to fill those positions. Families will be contacted by telephone until projections are met. Calls will continue to be made throughout the summer as we are notified of any additional openings. All students must be present on the first day of classes in order to maintain current enrollment at Edu-Prize. Whenever openings occur during the year, applications are selected by lottery and families are contacted by phone until all openings have been filled. Any applications that have not been selected for placement prior to the end of the school year will become inactive.

A new application needs to be filled out each year if the child is not placed. Please verify the date at the top of the application to insure that you are filling out the proper form. New applications are available January 1st of every year.

It is highly recommended that parents of prospective students attend one of the monthly school tours at Edu-Prize.
